Your 14-day right of withdrawal

Under Dutch consumer law (Burgerlijk Wetboek art. 6:230o onwards), you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the piece, without giving a reason. The 14-day period starts on the day you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) physically receive the parcel.

How to withdraw

  1. Send us an unambiguous statement that you want to withdraw, by email to hello@meidly.nl. You can use the model withdrawal form below, but you don't have to.
  2. We'll reply with the return address and confirm receipt of your withdrawal notice.
  3. Ship the piece back to us within 14 days of sending the withdrawal notice. We recommend a tracked PostNL parcel.

Condition of the returned piece

You may try the piece on to check the size, the look, and the fit, in the same way you would in a shop. If the piece is used beyond what is needed to assess it (visibly worn, washed, damaged, smelling of perfume or smoke), we may deduct the resulting loss in value from your refund.

Who pays return shipping

You pay the cost of returning the piece to us. We pay any outgoing shipping again only in the event of a defect or our mistake (see the legal warranty section in our Terms & Conditions).

Refund

Once we receive the piece back (or you can show proof that it's been sent) we will refund you within 14 days. The refund covers the price you paid for the piece plus the original outgoing shipping cost. We refund to the same payment method you used at checkout. No fees.

If only some of the items in a multi-piece order are returned, we refund the price of those pieces but not the original shipping cost (the parcel still needed to ship).
